The third-party payer system takes a large portion of your health care dollars before they ever get from
the insured to the doctors. Your money is eroded before it ever gets to the medical pratitioners.
The government is moving us in the direction of having everything run through them first. Government intervention has
never proven to make things less expensive or more efficient. On the contrary, government programs for helping the poor, (welfare)
have been found to be wasteful and far less efficient than privately funded church and volunteer programs. Yet politicians
keep hammering on the fact that they can do better. To us it appears that all we are doing is moving government to the front
of the line of entities between you and your money.
At Main Street Health we believe there's a better way. We believe in the power of personal choice. By paying doctors
directly, the money can go toward health care. this means two things; health care savings and better health care.
